ASWSC is considering implementing a tuition surcharge next fall quarter in order to upgrade computer capabilities on campus. Utah State University and the University of Utah have chosen to implement a tuition surcharge for this purpose. The U of U, beginning this winter quarter, is charging students $2.50 per credit hour (pch) for courses under the 500 level and $5 pch for courses numbered 500 and above. The additional computer fee amounts to $27.50 per quarter for students taking the average credit hour load, (see SURCHARGE on page 2) An open forum will be held Thursday during the open hour to atsv. m : 7-oposal and its implications. Administration representatives will be present at the hearing, which will be held in the union building ballroom, south end, at 10:30 f.m. Students are encouraged to attend.
