■+ SEVENTY-FIVE GET SUITS . . . The football equipmen at Weber
sollege was drained Tuesday when 75 candidates were issued suits in
the greatest football turnout in history, said Coach Reed K. Swenson.
Shown above are a portion of the candidates at the stadium workout
with (left center) Tom Lawson, assistant coach, and (right center)
Milton Meecham, head football coach. "It looks like a great football
season," said Swenson, "with Meecham, Lawson and the men plenty
enthusiastic. The boys are heavy and many are ex-GI's. They are
working out at eight-thirty a. m. and four p. m. daily at the stadium
with the first game September 27 in Ogden, with Branch Agricultual
