CAPITAL $250,00000 FULLY PAID HEBER J. GRANT & CO., GENERAL AGENTS. 20-26 MAIN STREET, SALT LAKE CITY. Mar. 11, 1908. Mr. David Eccles. Ogden, Utah. Dear Brother: I have pleasure in handing you herewith copy of the printed annual statement of our company, which was of age the 21st of last September. From an underwriting standpoint 1907 was the most profitable in the history of the company, our loss ratio being the least for a number of years. The ratio of expenses to premiums was 15.2%, as compared with 18.1% for 1906. Our premium receipts were the largest for any one year in the history of the company. With the developement of new territory in the adjoining states I feel that the results for 1908 will be as good if not better than for the past yaer. I congratulate the stockholders on the excellent condition of the company’s business, and also on the soundness of its assets. The officers will appreciate any assistance rendered by the stockholders to increase the premium income of the “HOME.” Again congratulating you upon the excellent showing made by the HOME FIRE OF UTAH for the past year, I remain yours respectfully, H. J. Grant. President.
