1957 Rosabelle to Mrs. F E Higginbotham

              March 4th Dear Folks I have been wanting to write to you for some time. But as I do not write well (shades of Edith) and do not spell well you can see I am some what handicapped. Anyway I did want to write and thank you both for youe Christmas gifts (at least before my birthday came around When Mary & Jack & children were with us at Baloa. we would think of you Margaret each morning we are toast I had the flue when I came home but am better now. Maude had a cold but is better now Dorothy (may the Lord bless her) cam up and was with Maude two nights while Maude was sick. Dorothy said she would try one or two people she thought might know of some one in Salt Lake who would like to come and stay with her Aunt Maude I am to call Dorothy Tuesday. I talked to Maude quite straight and told her folks felt she should have some one with her all day. I think she is looking at it more favorably now. Betty had a cold but is better Edith goes to town so often a cold can't catch up with her. We all were sad about the little girl being so sick. We will trust she will have an end to all her troubles now. We have been having Spring for some days but winter is making a little returns the past two days. Not much snow just rain.  Maude and I had Acacia Club at her house We missed you a lot Betty received your letter and we were glad to get the news and will be glad to see you again. I would love to see Peggys children, Looks like I am at the end of my paper. Much love Rosabelle Betty says to tell you I me cant write but I sure can talk
