Joe and Rosabelle a Hetzel left this evening for Niec. They left their itinerary with us, so we may get in touch with them at anytime. This am Nan and I made our way out to the L. D. Several Utah persons there but none that we knew. By taxi to the Ritz which is quite beautiful, but not in the class o four Hilton hotels. We have seen none of the Paris gayety. so far- that is reserved for the night clubs. (Joe and Rosabelle went round the circuit Friday night- got home about 3 am) a visit to the Tuillerie Gardens, the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. embraces all the sight-seeing we have done so far. This is a fine hotel as far as architecture of the public rooms is concerned, but the bed rooms are somewhat skimpy and funny- but comfortable.

There is tea served in the sun-court and dinner in quite a fine dinning room. But still we do not feel that we must step lightly or walk around the edges. We have not encountered much difficulty with the language. We just make gestures and they keep on chattering. Janet, yesterday we went to one of the big department stores- the LaFayette a big crowd scrambling around. Department from yarn (lots of it) to carpets & rugs. Not very well organized. We thought about like an enlarged Penny's in Ogden. Tomorrow (Monday) we plan to get organized with the American Express and go about our sightseeing by systematicully \

I bought a book about the paintings in the Louvre and shall visit there often. We plan to take a sight seeing bus to get a general view of the city tomorrow. It has been a great pleasure to show the sights to Nan. She has so much enthusiasm and strength to back it up. We are very comfortable and happy here and can depend upon American Express or the Church people if we ran into any trouble- so do not wory about us. I would like to know how you all are doing.
