October 27, 1959 Dear Sister Shaw, Elizabeth released you today from your position as visiting teachers class leader and expressed her own sorrow and yours because, as she said, you always wanted to "be something in Relief Society." Tears filled my eyes as I thought of your sweet influence and the gratitude I feel toward you. For it was you who gave me the formula for a lesson fifteen years ago which I still use, and which was such a help to me then, as well as now your gentle encouragement and kindness will never be forgotten. Dear Sister Shaw, as long as I lean on you and use your formula, and am leading in Relief Society, surely you are "something in Relief Society"- There must be many others who feel as I do, but I wanted you to know you will always be an inspiration to me- With love, Laura Harrington
