The accompanying letter has been received from Bishop Isaac Smith of Logan. It speaks for itself.
If the facts are as be represents them, we do not see why Brother Thorstensen should be held at home to attend to your business, because his services are needed in the Mission to which he has been called. Brother Christiansen, who is now in the office at Copenhagen, desires to reach home before winter sets in, but he cannot be spared until Brother Thorstensen reaches there to release him.
Please let me hear from you as soon as possible, and return to us the enclosed letter, so that we can write to Bp. Smith or Brother Thorstensen in reply to his letter.
