tors upon the subject, but as they had no meetng have had no reply.
The question of water at LUND is an important factor and without
which sheep could not be successfully handled there. This I am still hopeful
of getting, although our efforts so far have only given us a
moderate flow to a debth only of about eight feet from the surface.
We have driven l08 feet of three inch pipe and 430 feet of two inch pipe and gone to a debth of 530 feet with the wash rod without atriking artician water. We have about ten gallons to the Minute sup-ply of very good water ten feet below the surface I have ordered six hundred feet of one and a quarter pipe to go inside of the two inch so as to
