This letter from Mr. Early shows that the the fir operation was going - great guns — in 1900. The mill was at Chinowith - first mill B and then mill 6 - both of these mills happened to be in operation during some of the same time. The planer and railroad shipping point was on the Oregon side of the river at Viento.Viento, Oregon.,
