Dear Brother:
The enclosed letter to your Father's family is to be handed to your Mother after you have made the copies for your brothers and sisters.
I hope you will pardon my suggesting what I think should be done in reference to your Father's property. It should be kept together and continue to be a power for good in building up the sections of the country where our people are located. Tour father has made the most wonderful record in his line, considering his opportunities of any man I have ever known, and I have known some pretty big men in my time.
Had he lived I think he would have formed the David Eccles Company and arranged for the property he had made to be maintained in compact form.
I hope the heirs will do something of this kind. I am not alone in this wish, as I have heard more than one of his many friends express the same desire.
