Dear Brother: Yours relative to the awitch ties is duly recd, and in reply would say that we cannot now use more than eight or ten setts of these ties as our sidings are now half in. and you may order this number for us if you think proper. Werexwe to replace the ties under the present switches we could use seven setts more but I do not think it abvisable to do this. I will write him and ask about the lengt hs and if they are allright will use say eight setts. Shall I order them or will you do so. I am sorry you are at Baker as I was in hopes you would be at the Shurtliff sale. I will of course have to be there but I will not bid unless it be to run the property up to proper figure.
The track is getting along first rate and by the time you get this we will be out Forty miles. Our station building will be completed the last of next week. One Forwarding Co. is here and the other the Consol¬id
