Mr. Bourret: 9/27
I called the Mexi can Consulate and the woman there told me you should write to the:
Secretary of Education
Educacion Publica
Mexico City, D.F., Mexico
and to ask them where we can obtain the map. She did not have the address of the Department of Geography and History in Mexico City.
However, I then called Mr. Crafts and asked him where he had gotten the information and he said that Joyce Chambers had called the Mexican Consulate - that he was sure no street address was necessary and that this was (he thought) the Department of Geography and History of Mexico City - not a university department.

Dear Sir:
We would like to order a geological map of Mexico, published in 1968, entitled:
CARTA GEOLOGICA DE LA REPUBLICA MEXICANA
Escala 1:2000000
This map was reproduced under the direction of Esteban Monroy Soto, under the auspices of the Banco de Mexico, S.A., Comision de Fomento Minero, and other organizations.
The map was printed by Williams & Heintz Map Corporation in Washington, D.C. There is no price shown on the map.
If you will advise me of the price, I will be happy to send a check by return air mail.
Yours very truly,
Weston Bourret, Vice President
