Mr. Weston Bourret Utah Construction & Mining Co. San Francisco, Cal. Dear Mr. Bourret: I am sorry your letter of August 30 did not reach me until last week, after being forwarded twice. Unfortunately, because of my daughters death I did not return to Mexico City, and for the foreseat I am staying in Washington. The position I vacated will be filled by Mr. Clint Smith as of the early part of November. I am sure he will be only too glad to assist you as soon as he has settled down. Sincerely yours, W. F. Keyes

Dear Mr. Keyes:
Thank you for your hand note in regard to mining in Mexico.
I am trying to get a handle on copper exploration activity in Mexico - just in a general way. My guess is that I should write to the Chamber of Mines in Mexico City. But to who specifically?
Do you have any ideas or recommendations on how I can learn who is exploring for copper and how many core drills are at work?
Am sorry to learn of your daughters death and that you are giving up your apartment in Mexico City. It will take Clint Smith some time to learn his way around.
Will appreciate your dropping me a note.
Yours sincerely,
Weston Bourret Vice President
