Dear Phil:
Confirming our telephone conversation of this morning, I would appreciate your making every effort to setup the notes on exploration activities in Sonora so as to reach San Francisco by November 5, 1971.
I believe our telephone conversation pretty well covered the points to underscore, i.e., amount of money being spent on exploration, type of activities, which means geologic mapping, geophysics, geochemical work, core drilling, tunneling, etc Unless the Company is geared to budget, of say plus $250,000 annually, it is probably not necessary to mention.
Enclosed herewith is a copy of Vincent Perry's Jackling Lecture on Breccia Pipes. Interestingly enough, this is basically a more detailed account of work started by Perry in the early 1930's. It is also covered in the AIME Volume called ""Ore Deposits of the Western States"", page 701, ""Applied Geology at Cananea"", by V. D. Perry.
I shall be away from the office all of next week and returning November 8. Again, many thanks for securing information at the Hermesillo Meeting. Best Regards.
Sincerely yours,
Weston Bourret Vice President

Dear Phil:
Wes is out of town this week and I am writing immediately to acknowledge receipt of your report. The Information is ""right on""--as they say these days, and I am incorporating it in Wes's report which is now in final editing.
A few days ago, I sent you the final articles on electric steel technology that complete the first set I sent you about a month ago. I hope you have found them interesting, though probably not new to you.
I am sure Wes will write you further upon his return.
All the best,
Yours sincerely,
