    Manuscript Collection 55 (MS 55) was donated on April 2, 1987 and contains items collected by the Ogden Chamber of Commerce from 1920 – 1987. The collection comprises 36 boxes of records chronicling the activities of Ogden city’s major coordinating organization for business and commercial activities. The collection includes annual reports, brochures, financial reports, meeting minutes, memorabilia, military affairs, newsletters, newspapers, photographs, railroad and tax records. In addition to business related records, the papers also contain information on the Clearfield Naval Depot, Defense Depot Ogden, Hill Air Force Base, the Ogden Internal Revenue Service Center, and the Tuberculosis Sanatorium. The order of the collection reflects the provenance from the donor. The collection is organized alphabetically by topic or project and then chronologically within each category unless otherwise indicated. The photographs and maps are included with the subject they represent. However, oversized documents, certificates, maps and photographs have been filed as a separate topic.
