Leslie S. Hodgson came to Ogden in 1906 after studying architecture under students of Frank Lloyd Wright. During his 40 year career, he designed more than 75 buildings and schools. Although he designed in Wright’s Prairie Style and several period revival styles, Hodgson was best known for his Art Deco public buildings and homes. Many of his buildings such as, Ogden High School, the City and County Building, and the Egyptian Theater still stand today
