In 1936, famed Ogden architect Leslie S. Hodgson designed Ogden High School on Harrison and 28th Street. It was built by the Works Progress Administration. The building was Utah's first million-dollar high school and ranked among the foremost buildings of its type in the United States for its architectural beauty. The school has a capacity of 1,700 students and graduates about 600 per year.
