Marriner Eccles, Ed Littlefield and Utah International
Marriner Eccles and Ed Littlefield were each descended from, founders of the Utah Construction Company, and each served as the company's president and chairman of the board. Although they differed in generation, temperament and management style, their combined leadership transformed the company into a prosperous multi-national, poised for its eventual merger with General Electric.
