The prisoners would be allowed time in the exercise yard, which was opposite the Provost Marshall's office. I could see them, but I never approached the area and never talked with any of them. They were young men, probably aged 19 to 25. Their pay was low. I do not remember any of their names except that the names were difficult to type from dictation...

Archived TIFF images were scanned by Jamie Weeks at 300 dpi with an Epson Expression 10000XL scanner. Digital images were reformatted in Photoshop. JPG and PDF files were then created for general use.
