World War II POW Camp Correspondence, Newsletters, Oral Histories and Photographs

The Prisoners of War at Defense Depot Ogden Camp was in operation from 1942 to 1946. The collection includes correspondence between German and Italian prisoners and their families; weekly newsletters produced by the prisoners; oral histories conducted with the widows of German and Italian POWS, former guards, and community members that worked with the POWS; and finally a rich collection of 137 photographs documenting the Defense Depot Ogden Camp.
