Bushman, John

John Bushman discusses Indian scouts and guides, whom he calls “immigrant Indians,” the subject of his master’s thesis. Although he seems well-versed in activities of the Delaware Indians, he seems somewhat confused in grouping them with the Kickapoo and especially the Shoshone.
