The Weber State College/University Student Projects have been created by students working with several different professors on the Weber State campus. The topics are varied and based on the student's interest or task for a specific assignment. These oral history assignments were created to help Weber State sutdents learn the value and importance of recording public history and to benefit the expansion of the Weber State oral history collections.

Paulene Mackley discusses her knowledge and personal experiences with the canning industry and practice in Utah. The interview was conducted on February 10, 2005.

Garth Maddock describes entering the service in March of 1941, and describes his military career throughout World War II. He discusses living in slit trenches, meeting General Patton, and working with the troops in France. The interview took place in 1972.

Claude Malan discusses his grandfather, Bartholomew Malan, who bought the Malan Heights area east of Ogden in 1890 from the U.S. Government. The interview took place on March 2, 1971.

Freddie Martinez discusses his personal experiences and knowledge of the prostitution business in Park City, Utah. The interview took place on August 7, 1971.

Edith Maw discusses inflation and rising prices within Utah. The interview took place on May 6, 1972.

Sharon Kaye May, a Weber County jail inmate, shares her life experiences and run-ins with the law. The interview took place on August 12, 1971.

Charles Mayberry discusses his experiences as a prisoner of war in the Pacific, China, and Japan during World War II. The interview took place on September 6, 1971.

Danielle McAllister discusses her experiences as a student at Weber State University. The interview was conducted April 16, 2008.

Walter McBride discusses his experiences during World War II and Pearl Harbor. The interview took place on August 23, 1971.

Malcolm McDonald, a wildlife research biologist with a specialization in parasitology, discusses his studies of parasites and waterfowl populations. The interview took place on July 14, 1972.
