The Weber State College/University Student Projects have been created by students working with several different professors on the Weber State campus. The topics are varied and based on the student's interest or task for a specific assignment. These oral history assignments were created to help Weber State sutdents learn the value and importance of recording public history and to benefit the expansion of the Weber State oral history collections.

Margaret Hess discusses her life experiences while growing up in Farmington, Utah during the 1900s. The interview took place on August 31, 1976.

Clarence Hewlett worked at the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge from 1950 to 1953 as a mechanic. He discusses tourist damage to the refuge, illegal hunting, and other violations of refuge laws. Hewlett also discusses the need to protect the refuge from future damage and to preserve the natural habitat of the birds. The interview took place on July 10, 1972.

Clayton Holt shares his research of Joseph Morris, the leader of an apostate group living in South Weber in the early 1860s. The interview took place on May 20, 1971.

Melba Holt shares her memories of living in Utah and her experiences working in an Ogden hotel. The interview took place on February 3, 1998.

Lou Homer talks about her father, architect Leslie Simmons Hodgson, and her memories of him. The interview took place March 2004.

Ira Huggins discusses the history of the Democratic Party in Weber County, as well as a brief history of his own political involvement with Weber County. The interview took place on July 14, 1980.

Gerald Hulme discusses having a deferment from World War II because of his work with agricultural production, then deciding to enlist in the Navy in November 1942. The interview took place on February 17, 1973.

Olufemi Ijatula, from the Western State of Nigeria, discusses the history and his personal opinions on the Nigerian Civil War. He mentions military coups, corruption, and post-war reconstruction. The interview took place on August 5, 1972.

Beulah Illum shares her life experiences and memories during the Great Depression and World War II. She discusses seeing The Wizard of Oz at the Egyptian Theater in Ogden in 1939, attending Weber College, and her marriage in 1947. The interview took place on February 21, 1998.

Curtis Jackson describes working for the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Idaho, and discusses general American Indian history and treatment. The interview took place on February 13, 1973.
