Ogden (Utah)

Harry Papageorge, child of Greek immigrants, shares his parents' story and discusses the family's Greek heritage. The interview took place March 25, 2015.

Katherine Koompin Pavesic shares her memories of nursing school, including playing on a softball team with the nuns. Pavesic graduated from St. Benedict's School of Nursing in 1962. The interview took place on October 3, 2010.

Dora Leskow Peterson discusses her work at the Logan LDS Hospital and graduating from the Dee School of Nursing in 1953. The interview took place on July 30, 2008.

Lucile Parry Peterson recounts serving as secretary to President Tracy of Weber College from 1924 to 1932, and serving as secretary to the Board of Trustees, the Associated Students, and the Alumni Association during parts of that time. She reminisces on President Tracy's leadership, and the struggle to free the Weber Stake Academy from LDS Church control so it could grow as a state-sponsored school. She also discusses faculty members, community events, and the Great Depression. The interview took place on April 15, 1980.

Roy C. Phipps recalls working in the baggage department for the railroad during the Depression, as well as prices for rent and recreation. He also discusses the WPA government programs. The interview took place circa 1960s.
