Lucille Nebeker discusses her time spent working at the Defense Depot Ogden during World War II, and her interactions with the other workers and the prisoners of war. The interview took place on February 6, 2006.

Eleanor C. Painter describes her time working as a forklift operator during World War II at the Defense Depot Ogden. She shares her memories of working with the Italian prisoners of war, and her husband's service in the Navy. The interview took place on January 30, 2006.

David Peterson reminisces about teaching at Ogden High School and serving as Dean of Boys. He discusses the Opera House in Huntsville and a monument built for a midwife (Mrs. Smith), silver and galena mines, a creamery between Huntsville and Eden, and the practice of polygamy and a co-op economy. He also talks about World War I. A poem entitled, “The Sheepherder’s Lament,” is included. The interview took place on March 8, 1973.

Charles Polson discusses his work at Hill Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic and his decision to join the service in 1942. The interview took place on August 5, 1972.

Frank Satterwhite discusses his experiences in Ogden and at Hill Air Force Base, beginning during World War II. He worked for the Army Air Corp and shares his memories of the Porters and Waiters Club. The interview took place on January 23, 2014.

Stephen Stanford discusses his experiences in the Army Air Force as a C-46 aircraft pilot. Stanford enlisted in the Air Force in July of 1941 and served in World War II where he was responsible for flying gasoline and ammunition to the front lines until his separation in 1946. He then went on to become a professor at Weber State and retired in 1986. The interview took place on March 11, 2013.

Robert Stegen discusses his experiences as a veteran of World War II. Stegen was drafted in 1943 and served until 1946 as a 1st Lieutenant. He is a Purple Heart recipient and also earned the Bronze Star for valor in combat. Following his military service, Stegen began his career at the Army Defense Depot in Ogden, Utah and retired as a chief civilian of that facility in 1980 with 37 years of service. The interview took place on March 11, 2013.

Colonel Edward L. Thorsted discusses his military service experience, including enlisting in the Army in August of 1941. The interview took place on June 30, 1980.

John Udy shares his experiences as a veteran of the Army Air Force. Udy served in the military from 1942 to 1945 as a colonel and first pilot of the B-17 aircraft. During that time he flew 35 missions over Germany as an aircraft commander and received the Distinguished Flying Cross medal for his service in combat.

Carla Vogel discusses her memories of Ogden and 25th Street, including horseback riding to Hill Field Road, building the Vogel's Drive Inn on 30th Street with her family, and finding an underground distillery. She also describes meeting her husband, who served in the Korean War, and his childhood orphanage experiences as well as being adopted as an adult by her family. The interview took place on October 1, 2013.
