The Weber State College/University Student Projects have been created by students working with several different professors on the Weber State campus. The topics are varied and based on the student's interest or task for a specific assignment. These oral history assignments were created to help Weber State sutdents learn the value and importance of recording public history and to benefit the expansion of the Weber State oral history collections.

Wilford Frischknect, previous mayor of Manti, Utah, discusses conditions during the Great Depression. The interview took place on May 18, 1971.

Richard T. Fry discusses public schools in Morgan, Francis Peak, irrigation and the building of the East Canyon Dam, various sawmills and flour mills, the lime and cement mines and industries, agriculture, Como Springs, the LDS Church, experiences with Indians, mail service, medical care, the coming of the telephone, and his experiences as bailiff. The interview took place on July 3, 1976.

Richard Fry is interviewed about the flood that caused settlers to move their cabins to Monday Town, the development of Richville to provide ties for railroad building, the coming of the railroad in 1869, and other developments in the Morgan area. The interview took place on March 11, 1975.

William E. Gailey discusses the irrigation companies in Davis County, Utah during the 1900s and some of his related experiences. The interview took place on July 22, 1974.

Marcia J. Galli discusses general Native American culture and tribes, including Shoshone and Bannock. The interview took place on February 13, 1973.

Francesca Galvan discusses her childhood in Panama and her school experiences. The interview took place on July 13, 1980.

Marian Garfield shares her memories of being married to her husband in 1940 by David O. McKay, and her husband's military service as a gunner during World War II. She also discusses running the Troc Loung and Grill in Ogden with her husband. The interview took place on February 8, 1998.

Dr. W. Glen Garner discusses his involvement in the Weber County Health Department, and the presence of prostitution on 25th Street and its effect on public health. The interview took place on May 20, 1972.

Harold George discusses his vast experience with Union Pacific as a brakeman and a conductor, usually making the run between Ogden and Evanston. He describes in detail the responsibilities of various members of the train crew, discusses accidents, and gives a vivid description of his work in labor organizations for the rights and safety of railroad crews. He also talks about the Bamberger Railroad, the old Utah Central line, etc. The interview took place on July 3, 1974.

James Gillespie discusses different ethnic groups, and the racial makeup of Utah. The interview took place on February 15, 1971.
