Weber State University

Richard Richards discusses his early life growing up in Ogden, his family, education, political career, and devotion to Weber State University. Robert B. Smith served as vice president for the Academic Affairs office of Weber State University from 1981 to 1996 and was instrumental in the institution's transition from a college to a university. Smith recounts his experiences with the university, including changes that were made in computing, diversity, night school programs, graduate studies, and the university's general organization. The interview took place on May 31, 2011.
