The Weber State College/University Student Projects have been created by students working with several different professors on the Weber State campus. The topics are varied and based on the student's interest or task for a specific assignment. These oral history assignments were created to help Weber State sutdents learn the value and importance of recording public history and to benefit the expansion of the Weber State oral history collections.

Gwenith Rader discusses her father's ownership of the Bear River Duck Club. Her father, Vince Davis, was named the "best duck shot in the world" in The History of the Pioneers of Utah. Rader also explains the process of picking ducks and the different species. The Bear River Duck Club was sold by Vince Davis in 1900 and became the Bear River Club Company. The interview took place on July 12, 1972.

Alice Ralston discusses her experience working in elementary education, in positions such as teacher, principal, and Head Start director and consultant. The interview took place on May 24, 1971.

Margaret Ranson discusses her experiences as a student nurse in the early 1930s, and her nursing career afterwards. The interview took place on May 23, 1997.

A. George Raymond discusses the Logan, Utah temple and its symbolism. He also talks about his experiences he's had while being actively engaged in his religious and community responsibilities. The interview took place on February 27, 1973.

Mae Reeder discusses her life experiences, including her marriage just out of high school during the Great Depression, and her position on the State Board of Mental Health for 11 years. The interview took place on March 2, 1998.

G. Strandford Rees shares his opinions of rural doctors and the practice of medicine. The interview took place on May 8, 1971.

Lori Chambers Reeves discusses growing up in a large Mormon family in the late 1950s-60s in Ogden. She recalls family personalities and practices, as well as holiday celebrations. The interview took place on July 13, 1980.

James D. Ritchie discusses his knowledge and experiences involving 25th Street in Ogden, Utah. The interview was conducted on August 25, 2010.

Richard Roberts discusses his knowledge of B.H. Roberts and the history and influence he had on the LDS Church, as well as his knowledge of polygamy during the time. The interview took place on March 5, 1971.

Hazel Rosenau discusses her life throughout the years 1906 to 1927 and the historical and personal events that occurred within that time period. The interview took place on July 28, July 30, August 13, and August 15, 1983.
