The Weber State College/University Student Projects have been created by students working with several different professors on the Weber State campus. The topics are varied and based on the student's interest or task for a specific assignment. These oral history assignments were created to help Weber State sutdents learn the value and importance of recording public history and to benefit the expansion of the Weber State oral history collections.

Paul Rosenau discusses his life throughout the years 1906 to 1927 and the historical and personal events that occurred within that time period. The interview took place on July 28, July 30, August 13, and August 15, 1983.

Irwin Ruth describes his experiences in communications as a telegrapher for Western Union and others during the early 1900s, and his work as a train dispatcher for the railroads, particularly Southern Pacific. He describes a train robbery, his experiences in France and Belgium during World War I, and the increase in railroad traffic during World War II. He also discusses labor/management issues. The interview took place on July 14, 1974.

Stella Sand shares her life experiences, including attending the 1933 Chicago World's Fair for her honeymoon. The interview took place on July 1, 1980.

Atsushi Sayama discusses his experiences and knowledge of training and agriculture in Utah with the Japanese-American culture. The interview was conducted October 15, 2004.

Shirley Sayama discusses her experiences and knowledge of farming and agriculture in Utah with the Japanese-American culture. The interview was conducted on October 15, 2004.

Carol Jean Scott discusses the criminal justice system and drugs and prostitution in Ogden. The interview took place on August 12, 1971.

Darletha Scott discusses prostitution, the Ogden Police Department, and racism in Ogden. The interview took place on August 28, 1971.

Ruth Simmons shares her memories of growing up in South Carolina and her travels with her husband while he was in the air force. She also discusses her experiences in Utah and with religion. The interview took place on March 3, 1998.

Erika Schilef Sisneros talks about her recollections and experiences of her life in Poland and Germany during World War II. The interview was conducted in March 2008.

Ruth Sitton discusses her experiences as a young mother, and the corrupt police force in Twin Falls, Idaho. The interview took place on March 6, 1998.
