Lou Ann Larsen Thurgood recalls her time spent as a nursing student at the Dee Hospital. She talks of her capping ceremony, repeating the Nightingale pledge, training for six weeks at the Tuberculosis Sanatorium, and the evolution of nursing. The interview took place on November 17, 2008.

John Udy shares his experiences as a veteran of the Army Air Force. Udy served in the military from 1942 to 1945 as a colonel and first pilot of the B-17 aircraft. During that time he flew 35 missions over Germany as an aircraft commander and received the Distinguished Flying Cross medal for his service in combat.

Richard Ulibarri served in several departments at Weber State University from 1965 to 2012, including the Institute of Ethnic Studies. He discusses his involvement with cultural studies and minority students. The interview took place on April 10, 1973.
